Tina Johnson

Tina Johnson is a lifelong resident of Kentucky. Her family goes back for many generations in Eastern Kentucky. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Eastern Kentucky University in 1996. She spent time traveling throughout the United States during and after college. Her travels also took her to see the pyramids of Egypt. Her solo trip to Egypt was a grand adventure of exploration in one of the oldest countries in the world.


Tina is strongly involved in her ministry and strives to support those in the community through outreach and ministry events. Her husband is a Pastor. Tina believes in the rich culture of Appalachia. She believes in trying to find a balance between technology and carrying on the traditions of mountain people. She is an official volunteer for the US Forestry Service. As one of LiKEN’s new Community Engagement Coordinator’s Tina’s experience and knowledge of the people and places in this region will enhance the work that our team does.
