Kevin Slovinsky
Kevin Slovinsky is the Director for LiKEN’s Land & Revenues Program. He plays a lead role in building partnerships for LiKEN’s Appalachian Heirs’ Property Coalition. He coordinates recruitment of heirs’ property owners who want to work with our legal and agroforestry teams to clear title and turn their land into working landscapes. He coordinates documentation, analysis, and implementation of successful models for undoing land inequality and insecurity. He works with all LiKEN programs to incorporate land justice into our Theory of Change for economic democracy in Appalachia.
Kevin Slovinsky was born and raised in San Diego, California and comes from a family with a long history of community organizing and social justice advocacy. As a student, Kevin also organized with workers' unions and student organizations to improve working conditions and democratize college campuses.
