A lifelong resident of Pike County, Kentucky, Jennifer earned her associate degree in Allied Health and Radiologic Sciences from Morehead State University in 2006. The daughter of a coal miner and a homemaker, she has Appalachian family roots and values going back generations. Growing up along the banks of Tug Fork River, Jennifer realized from a very early age that she loved the beauty of the outdoors and loved being able to improve her surroundings by picking up litter and cleaning up the land. This passion to improve her community and especially the watershed has motivated her to participate in litter cleanups and tire pulls, along with her teenage son, with whom she shares this passion. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys hiking, running races, exploring the great outdoors, river rafting, traveling, and going to as many music concerts as she can. Jennifer is so excited to join a team who shares the same visions and passions for improving her beloved native region as she does.
