Jada McKenzie
Jada McKenzie is a born and raised Kentucky resident who grew up in Clark County. Her background is in geography with an emphasis on environmental analysis. Throughout her time at University of Louisville, she has become keenly interested in human health geography and spatial analysis. She possesses technical skills in geographical information systems (GIS), data analysis, and an eagerness to solve complex issues. Her professional background includes working as an Animal Control Officer for the Clark County Animal Shelter and as a construction engineer inspector for a consulting firm in Lexington. Her previous roles developed her interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate complex situations. Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) for Clark and Powell County, Kentucky. In her free time, Jada loves exploring in the Red River Gorge with her family and walking her dog in local parks; Legacy Grove and the Winchester Walking Trail to name a few. She gets the most joy in life by seeing others happy. She is excited to make a lasting impact in her hometown of Winchester, Kentucky by discovering the ways to restore its natural spaces and bring the community closer together.
